RemTech holds a stock of ‘off the shelf’ containerised remediation systems which are available for short or long term hire as well as self-contained, towable pilot testing and chemical injection trailers which can also be used in emergency situations.

Remediation Units:

RTS1

Hi-Vac – low flow Multi-Phase Extraction (MPE) unit suitable for lower permeability ground or highly variable alluvial deposits contaminated with low viscosity liquid contaminants including petrol, diesel, middle distillates and light oils.  Housed within an 8’ container this automated MPE system includes a 6KW carbon vane hi vacuum pump capable of achieving an applied vacuum of -800mbar and an air flow of up to 140m3/hr.  A large liquid knock-out pot and oil water separator with integral transfer pumps are capable of processing up to 4m3/hr liquid effluent.  It has a telemetry system installed to allow for remote monitoring.

RTS2

Groundwater extraction and treatment system ideal for running on any site where either contaminated groundwater or groundwater with separate phase liquid contaminants are present in the ground. Housed within an 8’ shipping container this automated unit includes a 4KW Hydrovane rotary air compressor capable of running up to 8 GP3 or GP4 pneumatic total fluid, top or bottom loading submersible borehole pumps (included). It also contains an LNAPL oil / water separator which can process up to 10m3/hr contaminated groundwater effluent with appropriate GAC vessel treatment. It has a telemetry system installed to allow for remote monitoring and alerts.

RTS3

Similar to RTS 2, this groundwater extraction and treatment system contains a 5.5KW rotary screw Fini Micro compressor capable of running up to 8 GP3 or GP4 pneumatic total fluid, top or bottom loading submersible borehole pumps. It also contains a separator which can separate fuel and process up to 10m3/hr contaminated groundwater effluent with appropriate GAC vessel treatment.

RTS4

Air Sparge and Soil Vapour Extraction (AS/SVE) unit may be suitable for AS/SVE pilot trials and long term operations or simply for SVE only. It is a small system housed within a 6’ steel mover box so can be mobilised quickly and discretely to control vapour in houses or in permeable ground. This unit contains a rotary claw, oil free, air compressor and a 3.8KW EN707 Rotron side channel blower capable of extracting up to 500m3/min with a maximum achievable applied vacuum of -200mbar. It also includes a telemetry package to allow for remote monitoring and alerts.

RTS5

Hi-Vac and groundwater pumping system Multi-Phase Extraction (MPE) unit suited best for chlorinated solvent or petrol extraction from groundwater. Housed within an 20’ container this is a fully automated MPE system which includes a very high level of monitoring and control and can be enabled for remote access, flow monitoring and control. It includes a 7.5KW CLD 10 Rotary Screw Boge compressor and drier capable of running up to 10 GP3 and GP4 pneumatic, total fluid, top or bottom loading submersible borehole pumps. It also contains two 3KW Mink MM vacuum blowers, each capable of reaching an applied vacuum of -940mbar and a maximum air flow of 160m3/hr. An integral air stripping tower with particulate filtration ensures the highest quality discharge for treated groundwater effluent at a flow 4m3/hr.
